Biography

Luke Edward Stripp (b.1995) is a self-taught Canadian Contemporary Artist who is an emerging figure in the art industry. At the age of twenty-five, he held his first public showing – a solo pop-up art gallery that he ran for nearly two years – during which he sold fifty original paintings. In addition, he attended as an exhibitor at 'Art Vancouver International Art Fair' (2023) where he also sold three originals after closing.

While maintaining a distinct contemporary voice grounded in self-directed research and reflection, Stripp has gained inspiration by the wonderful works of 20th century modern artists such as: Ben Nicholson, Fernand Léger, Lyonel Feininger, Jean Metzinger, and M. H. Maxy.

Luke Edward Stripp was born and raised in Surrey, BC, Canada.
He works and resides in Lethbridge, AB, Canada
